Lace system could be improved to manage loose ends better. Other competitors have an added heat resistant layer on the inside, which works better. More color patterns would be better. The outer layer adds a texture for gripping thats fantastic. I’m bummed to find out later through advertisements that you can order one with cutouts in the bottom to add vertical grips through, a better description between the variations could be helpful. I ended up cutting holes in mine to get it to work.

Nice heat wrap. Low profile, well made. Running it on a SD model firearm so the hand guard becomes too hot without this. The style of the wrap adds form to the function. Bought two and will be adding the suppressor cover soon.

I bought this for a little different application so any of my issues are related to that. I have some other Cole-Tac stuff and the quality is all great! I love the fact that it’s American made also! I bought this to go on a Sig Cross more for extra grip and protection against the cold while carrying it hunting. The diameter of this is to large so ended up doing the lacing a little different to try and get it snug. It would be nice to include the diameter measurements that this would be applicable to in the description for this reason. I’m happy with the quality I just wish the fit was better but I understand it was made for a different application than what I’m using it for.

Outstanding product! Mud, blood, heat, and coffee proof. I don’t keep gloves with my rifles, so no hanging on to slick metal. Grips so well that I don’t need vertical grips at all to hold firm. Laces over the top completely protect your fingers from sharp pic rails. I can attest these fit LWRC and Daniel Defense forends very well. The length is extremely well thought out. Easy to leave rail space at the front even on 7 inch forends.

Excellent piece of kit. These live on two rifles and the grip and control from just having them on is great. The only downside is that the slotted version gets in the way of most M-Lok stuff I’ve tried to install. But you really don’t need it when a wrap is this good.

I got the slotted one to work around some accessories, top rail has great access despite straps, my only comment is that it would be nice to have some slots on the side to access all the mlok points on my magpul moe.

I bought this because I have a leaky adjustable gas block on my SBR and wanted to keep the residue contained. As it turns out, it makes a huge difference with heat mitigation. I shoot bare-handed, and, while the uncovered handguard gets quite hot, this cover remains comfortable. The quality and fit are great.

I just received this wrap and right out of the gate it feels great in the hand. It looks good with clean lines and no frayed edges. It comes with a bungee style cord to secure it, but as another review pointed out; a way to manage the loose ends (like a barrel clamp) would be a nice addition. The description says it’s 6.5″ long and fits perfectly on my 7″ handguard. It could be the size of the handguard itself but after lacing the cord through the loops and tightening it completely covers the handguard so no mounting of any kind on the picatinny rail. As for the loose ends- I ran the cord from the muzzle to the receiver criss-crossed, then crossed them and ran them straight back towards the muzzle. After that I pulled everything tight and cut/fuzed the ends. The friction should keep everything in place. The only thing I may change is replacing the bungee cord with 550 cord; we’ll see.
Only gave it 4 stars because I haven’t taken it to the range yet and although it does look good it’s a bit thinner than some other wraps I have so I’m interested to see how it handles the heat.

This hand wrap is amazing. After super spiritual shooting and 6 mags my barrel was radiating heat to the point that it makes my exhaust jealous and the wrap allowed for me to shoot bare handed until I ran out of ammo. This hand wrap will help mitigate a ton of heat and will help you keep shooting all day

Great wrap. I use it for my Beretta 1301 as a hand-guard. It’s good, not perfect for this use but a great solution. The only thing I wish was that they offered an additional string and/or the ability to purchase additional additional strings.
