Backbone Bag Frame
Price range: $51.00 through $125.00
The Backbone Bag Frame represents the next revolution in support bags. The patented design eliminates the need for straps that attach the support bag over the rifle or optic. The hard-coat anodized frame attaches to the rifle by either an American Defense Picatinny mount or an Area 419 Arcalock mount. Four Hook and Loop straps keep the bags securely in place, and the wide surface area of the frame prevents the bags from twisting and shifting. Â
The beauty of the Backbone Bag System (BBS) is its adaptability and versatility. The frame can be used on any of our other BBS-compatible bags, offering you the best support for your shooting scenario. Once you remove the frame, the bag can be used just like any other standard bag as there is no sewn-in metal frame. This interchangeable design makes both the bags and frame extremely versatile. Our Cuddle Bag, Little Cuddle Bag, Trap Bag, Flat Bag, and Tricorne are all compatible and can be purchased separately.
Like all of our rugged gear, this product is made in the USA and offers our lifetime warranty. Buy your system today and give your bags a backbone.

Amazing product! From an amazing company, cannot say enough good things about Coletac and their awesome customer service. I would never use my own time to write a review for a company, why bother, but Coletac demands respect and recognition for how great they run their business and their products.

This frame works great with rifles with the arca rail. This can also be used with the Armageddon Gear game changer. but, you will need to swap the wider factory velcro straps for a narrower pair of velcro straps.

Not quite a plate, but way cheaper, lighter, and actially sits lower! I purchased with the flat bag and arca mount, simple and no instructions necessary. Youre able to swap the mount out so i might throw an rrs level on there too very handy. Was delivered internationally in a Jaw dropping 2 days. Amazing work.

This backbone is a well made product that can be a game changer when needing a flat bag for resting your rifle on and getting that perfect stable shot, having your flat bag fixed to the backbone provides a quick attachment to your firearm and keeps everything right in place without the use of extra straps. I highly recommend this product since I have used it for my long shots 200 yards + at multi gun events and have been rock solid also installing or removing is a snap.

Very happy with the backbone. The metal used is thin enough to not add additional weight but also rigid as to not bend or flex when working on barricades. The Arca clamp works as advertised and it includes three pins or dowels that the user can install for use with the newer Arcalock rails. I paired my backbone with a waxed flat bag from Cole Tac and work very well. You also have the option to change the fill of the flat bag to suit your needs through a velcro access on the side of the bag.
