I love my Varmint XL, and having my supressed sidearm at the ready. Without any adjustment to the holster (minus adjusting the straps to my body dimensions), my pistol slid perfectly into position inside and out. The suprsing thing, given the size of my pistol and supressor, is that I am able to pull this out of the holster pretty quick, hassle free and pretty was easy to get on target quickly (or pulling out out to a crazy, unsafe angle for weapon flagging). The current set up I am running for my Varmint XL is a FN 545 Tactical with a Streamlight TLR-1 HL, and a Rugged Obsidian 45. The material is nicely thick, sturdy and snag free. I also love that this comes with a integrated mag pouch. This holster is a home run in my opinion if you want to safely, and ethically carry your center-fired supressed pistol (set-up and ready to go). I definitely reccomend the Varmint XL!
